Big Hero 6

    Big Hero 6 ( 9.5 of 10 stars)

This movie was amazing! It was hilarious, emotional, and action-packed. Hiro was pretty dad-gum smart and so sweet but can have a bit of a temper when it comes to his brother. Tadashi was also super smart and too nice to leave. Baymax is just the cutest and funniest robot in the universe and also the sweetest! Gogo was just plain awesome and one of my favorite tomboys. Fred was super funny and pretty cool with theme songs. Honey Lemon was really cute and nice but also super awesome with her concoctions. Wasabi was kind of over protective but really nice. The Villain, which who I will not spoil for you, is such a butt-head! Aunt Cass was really funny and always tries to make everybody happy.
I loved everybody's high tech superpowers! Yeah, as an emotional movie, I kind of choked up during it. It was the funniest when Baymax did his fist bump. "Ba-da-la-la-la!" This is definitely one of my favorites. If you go see it, you won't regret it. Woman up and go see it!

Guardians of the Galaxy

Guardians of the Galaxy ( 9 of 10 stars)

This movie is definitely one of the best in the galaxy! It was hilarious, action-packed, and intense. Starlord was just too funny to handle and had a nice taste for music. Gamora kicked butt and was pretty smart, too. Drax was took things very seriously which is what made him so funny, and he was an awesome fighter. Groot was so nice but was pretty boss too. Rocket was very funny and one you don't want give a gun. Ronan was a big jerkface and was easy to distract with a little dancing.
I loved the part when baby Groot was dancing to the music at the end. Drax was hilarious with the metaphors. " Nothing goes over my head. My reflexes are too fast. I would catch it." It was sad how lots of the guardians' families had died. This. Is. Groot.

The Book of Life

The Book of Life ( 8 of 10 stars)

This movie was amazing! It was funny, creative, and full of adventure, it was also better than I thought it would be. Maria was very pretty and an awesome fighter. Manolo was great with the guitar and  not bad with the girls. La Muerte was also very beautiful and definitely a force to be reckoned with. Xibalba was just a big cheater but turned out to be not so bad in the end. Joaquin was kind of vain but still a nice guy. The Candlemaker was super funny and really sweet.
I loved the songs in this! I also loved the actors that voiced them. The Land of the Remembered was so cool with its color and painted faces. I might just start celebrating the Day of the Dead after seeing this! ( That's what this movie is based off of.) This movie will make your heart burst!

The Boxtrolls

      The Boxtrolls ( 8 of 10 stars)

This movie will make you laugh your box off! It was funny, action-packed, and had amazing characters. Eggs was very nice and a little bit of an airhead in the human world. Winnie was one of those girls who doesn't need a bodyguard but was still sweet. ( Elle Fanning did a great job with her!) Archibald Snatcher was a total wacko over getting that white hat; it's a hat that lets you eat cheese, for crying out loud! Lord Portley-Rind was very uncaring about his daughter at first, but then loosens up. I loved the boxtrolls, they were so funny and surprisingly smart.
I thought it was cool how the boxtrolls are named by the picture on their box, like Oil Can and Shoe. Baby Eggs was so cute! ( Had to let that out.) I loved how Eggs and Fish, the boxtroll, had made a little music room over the years. Snatcher's reaction to cheese was NOT pretty; you have been warned. Anyway, this is an amazing movie and I think everyone should see it. "Jelly!"

The Secret of Kells

The Secret of Kells ( 8 of 10 stars )
This movie was magnificent! It was inspiring, full of action, and kind of dark. Aisling was very kind, beautiful, and also a good singer.( I love her hair and she can change into a wolf, that's my favorite animal!) Brendan was an amazing artist and very brave, too. The Abbot was sort of mean but at least he loved Brendan. Brother Aidan is very nice and had a cool way to make ink. I hated the Northmen so much! They kill people for no freaking reason! The Book of Kells is a real thing, and I really want to see it.
I really liked how they drew the scenery and the music was great, too. My favorite parts were when Brendan was drawing throughout the movie. I think that all fantasy-lovers would really like this movie. This movie is a real piece of art.

The Iron Giant

   The Iron Giant ( 8 of 10 stars )

This movie is an instant classic! It is super funny, action-packed, and full of emotion. Hogarth was very funny and a great friend to the giant. Dean was a cool artist and also pretty bold. Kent is a big jerk and kind of closed-minded. The Iron Giant was so sweet and very protective to Hogarth and other people. It is cool how the giant can fix himself and how he wanted to be Superman. Annie ( Hogarth's mom ) is a good mom but not very believing to Hogarth at first about the Iron Giant.
One of my favorite parts was when Hogarth was saying his prayer while the giant's hand was in the kitchen. I also liked it when he drinks espresso and goes crazy for a second. The Iron Giant is very human-like and you can tell he has a big heart. Even though not a lot of people know about this movie, it is amazing and it will warm your heart.

Cats Don't Dance

   Cats Don't Dance ( 7.5 of 10 stars)

This may be old, but it is amazing! The music was great, it had funny moments, and the dancing rocked! Danny was a good dancer and very friendly, also very inspirational. Sawyer is an awesome singer but she never wanted to show her talents since she got rejected in Hollywood. Darla Dimple may have been the villain, but she is a great singer and very good at trying to be and sound like an angel. Pudge the penguin was nothing but cute and a good friend. Max the butler, well I don't even if he is a human or what but you don't want to mess with him.
My favorite songs were "Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now" and "Big and Loud". I didn't like how everyone was so mean to Danny. It was hilarious when Darla was trying to ruin the show, but kept on making it better. It was also cute when they did all the old movie posters with the main animals on them. This movie is really the cat's meow!

Attention!! Movie Writing in Progress!

   The Big 6

I am writing a crossover movie! It's called The Big 6. When it is finished, I will send it in to Disney and Dreamworks and see if they will do it! The movie is about Hiccup, Rapunzel, Merida, Jack Frost, Elsa, and Anna meeting and trying to stop Firestorm (a half dragon, half woman creature) from destroying the Big 6. I will update if they respond! It will be musical, funny, and full of adventure and darkness. Cross your fingers!!

How to Train Your Dragon 2

How to Train Your Dragon 2 (10 of 10 stars )
This movie was freaking amazing! It is full of adventure, funny moments, and emotions. The first time I saw this, it made me cry. Hiccup was pretty funny and very brave, and toothless is just plain hilarious but one part made me kind of upset. Valka was super cool and a great singer. Drago was a stupid, idiotic, jerk! Astrid is pretty cute and tough, too. Ruffnut was super funny around Eret, and Snotlout and Fishlegs were pretty funny to try to fall for her. Stoick was really tough and a great fighter.
During the flashback, baby hiccup was so cute! All the new dragons are really cool especially the Bewilderbeast. The battle against Drago was super intense.( and surprising, too.) One great part was when Stoick and Valka sing their song. I recommend this movie for everyone, this is now my all time favorite movie!

Maleficent

  Maleficent (8.5 of 10 stars)

This movie was magically amazing! It had all kinds of twists and turns, and was full of action, adventure, and magic. I think Maleficent might win best picture at the Oscars. Angelina Jolie did an awesome job at her character and she is very dramatic and powerful. Elle Fanning was very good at playing Aurora. ( She had the perfect accent!)  King Stefan was nice as a boy, but stupid and a little insane as king. The three fairies were pretty funny and pretty much always argued. There are so many amazing creatures in this movie.
Maleficent's wings were very pretty and really big, too. Stefan was a total jerk to take her wings just to be king! The costume designs were very creative and cool. The scenery is very detailed and beautiful, too. It was cool how they showed Aurora and Maleficent growing up. I will always see the story of Sleeping Beauty different now.

The Pirate Fairy

  The Pirate Fairy ( 7 of 10 stars )

This movie was a swash-buckling adventure! It was funny, cute, and full of adventure. Zarina is an amazing pirate captain: brave, smart, and strong.( I loved her outfit.) Tink and the gang are super cute and talented. Hook and his band of pirates were a little bit weird and crazy, and we can't forget Crocky; probably the cutest crocodile in the world!
My favorite part was when Zarina was tampering with pixie dust. The two shorts that come with the movie are pretty cute, too. It was also cool when Crocky ate the clock and how he thought that Rosetta was his mom. If you watch this, you'll fly away with a good time.

Tangled

      Tangled (8.5 0f 10 stars)

Tangled is one twisted fairytale! It is funny, adventurous, and a lot of hair. Rapunzel was cute and very serious with Flynn Rider. He was pretty good with the frying pan, but not so good with the smolder. Pascal and Maximus are animals with attitude and brains. Mother Gothel was selfish and cruel, just how she decribed the world to Rapunzel. The Stabington Brothers were strong and great at stealing crowns. The one with the eye patch didn't talk at all.
My favorite part of the movie was when Flynn and Rapunzel saw the lanterns. The music was really cool and soothing. I thought that Rapunzel's paintings were awesome, too. Gothel is stupid and mean: she wanted to be young for no apearent reason! You can do so many things with Rapunzel's hair, like braiding it, twisting it and tangling it.

Madagascar 3 Europe's Most Wanted

     Madagascar 3 Europe's Most Wanted ( 8 of 10 stars)

This movie is a circus delight! It is hilarious, adventurous, and entertaining. Alex was funny and worked good with Gia. Marty and Stefano were awesome at cannonballing and Gloria and Melman did an amazing job on the tightrope. I don't get how Vitaly could go through a hoop the size of a ring. Captain DuBois was a crazy woman and could smell out anything, she also wanted Alex mounted on her wall. The other circus animals were pretty funny and outstanding at their acts.
My favorite part was when they did their first new preformance with "Firework." I thought it was funny how they shipped DuBois to Madagascar. You can't forget Mort and King Julian, they are insane and adorable lemurs. Everyone should go see this afro circus!

Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 2

Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 2 (8 of 10 stars)

This movie will fill your appetite for adventure! It is funny, adventurous, and full of foodimals.(food animals) Flint is smart and really good with technology, and he looks just like my Uncle Timmy. Sam is an awesome weather girl and Carl is kind of like a soft but hard guy 'cause he tries not to cry, but he does anyway. Brent was a total nerd, and Manny, well... he's just the camera guy. We can't forget Barry: the cutest strawberry on the face of the Earth. He was cute, funny, and pretty strong at the end.
My "flavorite" part of the movie was when all the foodimals are fighting Live Core. Barry got in a giant suit and was beating everyone up. I hated Chester V: he is stupid, weird, and good with holograms. Loving this movie is a piece of cake.

Muppets Most Wanted

Muppets Most Wanted (7.5 of 10 stars)

This movie was awesome! It is hilarious and full of adventure and great actors. Ty Burrell from Modern Family and Tina Fey from Megamind did an outstanding job: they were funny, and both had good accents. Ricky Gervais was a good actor, too, even if he was a bad guy. The Muppets were also really funny and did crazy things; like Gonzo with the indoor running of the bulls.
It was fun to see Walter again, and Sam Eagle and Ty Burrell worked really good together in the movie since they were both cops. My favorite characters were Ty and Tina because they were smart and funny. This is the seventh sequel to the Muppets, and it was one of the best.

Brave

   Brave (9 of 10 stars)

This movie is perfect for red-haired girls with adventure. Brave is funny, adventurous, and full of bears. Merida was going to do anything to get what she wanted and her brothers were a trio of devilish little thieves. Queen Elinor was a little strict and wanted Merida to be perfect. King Furgus was tough and kind of defended Merida at sometimes.
I didn't like how Elinor was so bossy and not understanding what Merida had said and thought. This movie was full of action and especially danger. I loved the music and the detail. You should go buy the songs Touch the Sky, Into the Open Air, and Learn Me Right. Brave is unbearably awesome!

Frozen

      Frozen (9.5 of 10 stars)

This movie was just like a warm hug, as Olaf would say. Frozen is amazingly funny and adventurous, and don't forget cold. Anna was a princess with an attitude and a fierce punch, literally. Elsa was beautiful and an outstanding singer, and Hans, wellll...... he's a big jerk. Olaf is just plain hilarious and Kristoff is pretty strong with Sven.
My favorite part was the beginning, when Anna and Elsa were little and playing in the snow. Their parents were stupid to keep Elsa's powers hidden, and they should have told Anna the truth. This really was the best movie of the year.

Mr. Peabody and Sherman

Mr. Peabody and Sherman (9 of 10 stars)

When a dog adopts a boy, you should listen to their story. This movie was a hilarious adventure that made me want to travel back in time in the WABAC. Mr. Peabody is an amazing talking dog that invented the fist bump, backside Ollie, tear-away pants, and zumba. He can also do the bagpipes, yodel, and the tuba. Sherman is the adopted son of Mr. Peabody, and it might seem weird that a dog adopted a boy, but it doesn't seem weird when Mr. Peabody did it.
The actors did an outstanding job: Patrick Warburton and Ty Burrell were amazingly funny. There is only two words to describe this movie: Doggone funny!

How to Train Your Dragon

How to Train Your Dragon (10 of 10 stars)

This movie is the perfect mix of adventure, comedy, and heart-warming moments. Hiccup and Toothless are an amazing team and they can accomplish almost anything. It feels like you're actually on Berk with the dragons. Astrid is one tough cookie, so try not to mess with her. This is my all-time favorite movie and I have seen a lot of movies. The animation is very detailed and realistic. It is impossible for me to find my favorite part of this movie.
I hate how Stoick( chief of Berk and Hiccup's dad) is so mean to Hiccup. The gang, a.k.a. Snotlout, Fishlegs, Astrid, Ruffnut, Tuffnut, and Hiccup, goes through a lot of funny and dangerous stages in their journey to become dragon trainers. I say," Best movie ever!!!!!!!"
How to Train Your Dragon 2 will be on this blog soon.
